When My Hair Was Awesome.

I would say we all had alot of fun making this video. in order to get people out to the video shoot..we decided to get a keg....that always works wonders. im not 100 percent sure...but if i remember correctly it was the fall of 2005 when we shot this video. we did it at scotts house... we both lived on a street in fern creek called johnson school road. its was in the city limits but out in the country. Scott lived in kinda a guest cottage type of deal. i lived in a studio above a garage just around the corner.  Perfect for playing drums and playing loud...lousy for the drive home on a Saturday night.....so we recorded the first six song cd self titled Scotty lust cd....sent it to our friend Jamie Buckner....and he said he wanted to make a video for it....and thats what we did. the original line up was me Scott and Gary..then we asked Shane to play in the band after we recorded the six songs. made the video...played a handful of shows...then me and Shane kinda got into a fight at one of our shows...and i was kicked out of the band. later on i moved to Cincinnati to play with sayonara tiger. Sltt picked up spider bite to play drums. maybe a year or so gary and spider left the band and Scott and Shane got this guy named Chris to play bass and asked me to play drums again just to help them out with shows and stuff. i ended up playing for the summer driving down to Louisville or playing in the cincy area...then left the band in November. for the most part. i really thought this band was the shit. towards the end of their time....it started to go a little to rootsy rock for me..but im sure if you asked the other guys in the band they might tell you it was the best time. its all a matter of opinion. i really dont go down to Louisville too much anymore...which i feared would one day happen....either because over time people grow apart...or just the simple inconvenience of driving down there on a Friday after noon....or it might be possible that alot of people have settled down....stopped playing music...and i guess just grew up and got good jobs and stopped rockin......yes...it was a combination of all three. none the less....that night when we made the video. was a really fun night. and i thin kthe end result was really really cool. Jamie....you did an awesome job.
